The studio is led by Jonathan Kemmis Betty.

Jonathan's journey in garden design began simply with a passion for nature and a desire to create serene, wildlife-friendly sanctuaries. This love for the natural world led him to train for a diploma at the London College of Garden Design (LCGD) at Kew Gardens, where he honed his skills in crafting beautiful, functional outdoor spaces.

Jonathan leads all of the garden design projects, ensuring a personalised approach from concept to completion. His diverse career has uniquely shaped his design philosophy. Starting in finance, Jonathan developed strong analytical and problem-solving skills. He then transitioned to a creative studio working for a well-known photographer, refining his eye for composition and innovative design.

Subsequently, Jonathan spent a number of years as a project sponsor at a large engineering firm, mastering project management and strategic planning.

Jonathan's multifaceted background enriches his garden design practice, enabling him to create bespoke gardens that are visually stunning, thoughtfully planned, and expertly executed. He transforms outdoor spaces into unique, thriving environments that reflect both client aspirations and the site's natural beauty.
